YNAB (You Need a Budget) is a budgeting software that is a complete game changer! YNAB is accessible by web, mobile application (both Apple and Android), iPad, apple watches, and even Alexa. While I don't require the use of YNAB, all of my past and current clients use it, as do I. 

If you use my referral link - you'll receive a free month of YNAB in addition to your 34-day free trial!! This is plenty of time to get you started and on your budgeting journey.

All of my paid clients are eligible for up to a 60 day extension of their trial period with YNAB (up to a total of 95 days free trial period) which gives you plenty of time to receive Coaching and support!

This isn't a one-size-fits-all answer, which is why I recommend we meet for a free 30 minute consultation to better understand your needs and current situation. If you are already a YNAB user, we are starting from a different place than someone who is new to budgeting. Our goal is self-sufficiency but the pace and duration is individual. We will get there though!

If you have paid for any amount of time, and we find that another meeting might be needed to sort out things better, I will prorate to the next session's cost.

Excellent question - yes! Not only have I been using YNAB for 15 years and counting, I am a YNAB Certified Budgeting Coach, which means that I have been trained to coach people on using YNAB software and the YNAB budgeting method. I have met select requirements of You Need a Budget LLC in order to receive this certification, which means that I have the ability to competently coach YNAB to others. I am not an employee of YNAB, and all non YNAB related opinions and recommendations are my own. My views to not reflect the views of YNAB and its employees or its affiliates.

Yes, your information is safe with me. Finances can be an intimate subject, and I understand the concerns to privacy here. As your coach, I do not ask for or input any information into software - instead, I teach you how to and you are in the driver's seat. I do not have access to any of your banking, budget, or financial information. I do not record our sessions and do not store any account details.

I hold our conversations with the highest standards of confidentiality. While I may reference experiences that myself or other clients have had, I will NEVER share details that can identify the individuals involved. Budgeting can often require brutal honesty to your reality, and it can get tense at times. Know that you have my full support and confidence to change your situation.

I accept Venmo, CashApp, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay, and cash if local. I can provide an invoice upon request if needed.

As a Certified You Need A Budget Coach, I have training and certifications specifically in use of the YNAB Software. I can help you to unwind your current money habits and to develop financial independence from what you already have. Notice that I say I help YOU to do these things. As a Coach, I will help you build the skills necessary to continue without me (though I'm always happy to connect if something comes up!) I will not make choices for you, but I may offer suggestions or feedback based on my observations. In the words of Denis Morton, "I make suggestions. You make decisions." 

While I have 10+ years of experience in the financial and banking industry, and hold FINRA licensing (https://brokercheck.finra.org/individual/summary/7697027),  I am NOT licensed or certified to to provide you with financial advice. I am happy to recommend you to trusted advisors if you are seeking guidance on Investments, Retirement Accounts, Stocks, etc. but that is not the purpose of my coaching.

Anyone who you would like to attend is welcome to join us for any sessions. I strongly encourage anyone who regularly spends money in your accounts (you, partners, children, friends, etc) to join us and learn what is needed. If you have an unsupportive partner or spender, I understand that and can also coach you on options to still be successful.
